Situated on National Highway 1 connecting Delhi to Amritsar, Murthal is a step away from being the Paratha capital of India. A large village in the Sonepat district of Haryana, it has become a go-to destination for the city folk to have some of the most mouthwatering Parathas in the world. Established by a few people in order to serve as an eating junction for the truck drivers, its dhabas soon gained popularity and found themselves among the list of favourites of the capital's youth.
